Background
Pam is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and has been a therapist for over 30 years. She received her graduate degree from the University of Houston earning her Master's in Social Work there. She has training in most areas of social work, and she has experience working with clients from adolescent ages to the elderly. She began her career working in a nursing home and in hospitals as a medical social worker. Then she moved into being a crisis counselor and then into private clinic work where she provided treatment to individuals, couples and families. Her area of focus has always been on anxiety, relationship issues, grief and bereavement, depression, adjustment, domestic violence survivors, military and first responder issues, as well as working with people who are hearing impaired.
