Background

Alyssa received her Master of Science in Nursing from Rivier University where she specialized in psychiatric mental health. She is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Alyssa worked as a staff nurse in the psychiatric inpatient setting for 10 years. She has worked with patients struggling with diverse mental health concerns, including depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, and anxiety disorders as well as other challenging conditions. Alyssa takes a holistic approach to mental health treatment combining medication management with counseling techniques and lifestyle modifications. She values collaboration with her interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient. She is passionate about empowering, educating and advocating for her patients to promote overall mental health and well-being.
