Background

Bekah is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her bachelor's degree in art history from the University of Alabama, and her first nursing degree from Missouri Western State University. She received her master's degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama. She has experience assisting patients across the lifespan and works with young people who are facing challenging transitions into adulthood and through different phases of life. She incorporates a caring, compassionate, patient centered approach to her care, while utilizing evidence-based practices when offering medication-based treatment. She seeks to understand each person holistically and honors the individuality and diversity of each patient. She prioritizes building positive connections with patients and their support systems. In her spare time, Bekah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and spends time outdoors tending to her garden.
