Background
Christina received her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Fort Valley State University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 8 years of experience working with individuals and families in a variety of settings to increase self-awareness and develop healthy coping mechanisms to effectively deal with life’s challenges. Christina works closely with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief, substance use disorders, mood disorders, complex trauma, personality disorders, and bipolar disorder. She engages collaboratively with her patients to foster a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic space while effectively incorporating a variety of evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.
